Art Jakarta 2024 is a premier art fair showcasing contemporary art with a clear focus on Southeast Asia. Held in the region’s dynamic centre, it brings together notable galleries, artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts, creating a vibrant platform for artistic exchange and cultural dialogue.

This year, as a stimulating international forum for key stakeholders in Asia, the Fair features a diverse range of artworks to highlight the evolving art scene in the region presented by 73 exhibitors. Equipped with a tailored programme to provide valuable insights into current trends and issues in art, Art Jakarta 2024 aims to foster a deeper appreciation for contemporary art and strengthen the local and international art communities, making it a must-visit event for anyone passionate about art.

VISITORS WITH CHILDREN

Children with a height of 90 cm and above need tickets. There are no concession tickets for children. Children under the height of 90 cm must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Parents and caregivers are fully liable for any damages caused by children under their supervision.

With a longstanding tradition of supporting the arts, Julius Baer is pleased to continue our partnership with Art Jakarta as an extension of our commitment to Asia, our second home market. This year, prominent artist Sunaryo will present a special exhibition of his artworks, including several new pieces, at our VIP lounge. Celebrated for his innovative approach to contemporary art and dedication to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression, Sunaryo has received many awards, including Anugerah Akademi Jakarta and the Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres from the French Cultural Ministry.
UOB Art Space
UOB Indonesia launched the Painting of the Year (POY) competition in 2011, expanding its regional flagship art programme. As the longest-running art competition in Singapore and a major platform in Southeast Asia, it has recognised over 1,000 established and emerging artists across Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Six Indonesian artists have won the UOB Southeast Asian POY Award. This year, UOB Indonesia proudly showcases works from POY artists across five countries, reflecting their cultural aspirations, ideas, and heritage, while continuing UOB’s commitment to art and community development.

Presenting an interactive booth designed to engage the youth through the campaign “Bear4Love”, where Yayasan RMHC will also organise a silent auction for charity featuring artworks by ten celebrated artists: Abenk Alter, Arifin Nief, Darbotz, Diana Puspita Putri, Made Wianta, Muklay, Nue Prastowo, Pande Giri, Richard Schmidt, and Rizal Hasan.
Super Art Box
A one-stop dynamic musictainment media, SUPERMUSIC presents “Super Art Box” that invites the audience to explore the artworks by SUPERMUSIC Superstar Winners. “Super Art Box” revolves around the themes of freedom, discovery, and breaking boundaries, encouraging us to embrace the unknown and challenge the limitations we encounter. “Super Art Box” serves as the pulse of inspiration, communication, and expression for artists across Indonesia.
Frigorifero d’arte
Through its collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, Smeg will present one unique hand- painted refrigerator from the Frigorifero d’arte (Refrigerators of Art) collection. The design is entitled “Heroes of Sicily”. Its unique design and rarity is what transforms it into a work of art and a collector’s item.
Naked Tone by this/PLAY
Collaborating with this/PLAY, Roca explores the bathroom as a space where moments of personal expression unfold, often in the form of spontaneous song in the universal phenomenon “bathroom karaoke”. This installation is designed with the idea of singing in the shower, inviting visitors to step into an alternate reality—much like closing one’s eyes while immersed in a song, evoking a sense of tranquillity through imagination, environmental awareness, and harmony. Let us celebrate the liberating act of singing in the shower — because singing is liberating.
DataFlesh by Eldwin Pradipta
Indonesia’s premier telecommunications infrastructure and B2B internet service provider, iForte, collaborates with artist Eldwin Pradipta to create “DataFlesh”, a two-sided interactive projection on a semi-transparent material that reacts visually to audience movement from both sides. Incorporating data from iForte’s extensive telecommunications network and upstream sources, "DataFlesh" combines this with audience interactions to generate dynamic visuals that reflect elements from across the Indonesian archipelago, creating a unique fusion of technology and contemporary art that highlights the interconnectedness of culture and digital infrastructure.
In Collaboratio Veritas by indieguerillas
Artist duo indieguerillas takes up the challenge of playing with the letters T, A, C, and O using materials from TACO, a leading interior solutions provider in Indonesia. Titled “In Collaboratio Veritas”, this installation represents the strength of unity and the pleasure of collaboration.
Immaculate Virtue by HONF
In collaboration with Yogyakarta’s HONF, Blue Label presents “Immaculate Virtue,” blending traditional values with modern innovation. This partnership combines premium spirits with ethical artistry, inspiring global audiences through excellence, cultural engagement, and a deep appreciation for both art and tradition.
Ketok Mejik by Erwin Windu Pranata
Reflecting the spirit of the Next Gen MINI, inventive artist Erwin Windu Pranata aims to bring back fun and excitement through the assemblage art “Ketok Mejik”, which incorporates the new all-electric MINI Cooper. By using colourful and reusable everyday objects, the artwork aligns with the value of sustainability while emphasizing the joyfulness intrinsic to MINI’s character.
Pelantang 20- 20.000 Hertz by Uji "Hahan" Handoko & Esa System
The hospitality group, Artotel Group, collaborates with renowned artist Uji “Hahan” Handoko to reinterpret the term “rockstar”, a new tier of the Artotel Wanderlust reward program, through the installation “Pelantang 20-20.000 Hertz”. A metaphor to illustrate extraordinary performance, skills, or behaviour in a particular field, which serves as a form of appreciation for both the visible and invisible contributions made by creative workers in the art scene.
Hydrogrid, Hydartion by Palette Studio
The collaboration between Vinilon and Stanley at Art Jakarta 2024 will feature “Hydrogrid, Hydration”, an installation presented as an elastic yet sturdy structure and integrated as both a seating area and a place where visitors can utilise a refillable water facility, offering comfort after a day of exploring the Fair.
AJX
A collaborative initiative between Art Jakarta and various institutions and private companies to present their collections to a wider audience. An opportunity for the public to view many artworks for the first time, presented by the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar (Bali) and Eugene Museum in Bali.
White Painting Series by Eugene Kangawa/EUGENE STUDIO
This interactive project invites audience participation by having people kiss a blank canvas, which has been done in various countries with over 600 kisses collected. Titled “White Painting,” each piece features the names of the participants and contrasts current global divisiveness with the promise of community-driven solidarity and reconnection.
N-CAS (ISI Denpasar)
Nata-Citta Art Space (N-CAS) at the Institute of the Arts, Denpasar, presents a curated selection of works by young lecturer-artists. Under the theme “Kalwa-Manawa-Kalpa” (Time-Human-Term), this special presentation reflects on human nature in the face of time.

Play by UOB
A space designed to nurture children’s creativity under the guidance of Ni Nyoman Sani, the 2023 UOB Painting of the Year winner. This year’s Play by UOB, titled “We Are All Beautiful,” will offer an interactive and dynamic environment where children can engage with art in playful and imaginative ways.
AJ SPOT
A platform for special presentations of art installations that have been tailored specifically to the Fair. This year, Art Jakarta Spot will present 4 curated artworks, exhibited in public areas within the fairground.
